La banda apuntó a lograr un sonido épico del estilo musical de Symphony X o de Bal-Sagoth. Según el tecladista y bajista del grupo Martin Hanner, se trata de un "concept album", en el que la tapa nos muestra un hombre que está siendo iniciado por un culto.
