Infinite es el octavo trabajo de Stratovarius, lanzado a la venta en Marzo del 2000. Este álbum resultó en tres singles: "Hunting High and Low", "It´s a Mystery" y "A Million Light Years Away". Ese mismo año la banda se unió con Sonata Arctica para hacer de "support" a Rhapsody en su primer tour.
