En Junio del 2004, Motorhead lanzó a la venta nada menos que su décimo-octavo álbum de estudio, denominado Inferno. Sus temas poseen características del hard rock, del heavy metal, y hasta secciones acústicas. En los temas "Terminal Show" y "Down on Me" aparece la participación del guitarrista Steve Vai.
